My current work is focused on the process and context of transformation, using various mediums to deconstruct iconic images and symbols that may have influenced today’s culture. In addition to traditional ways of painting and constructing visual images, I am experimenting with saws, grinders, blades, and die cutters to literally cut my own artwork to pieces to be reconstructed and juxtaposed to explore a new interpretation of the human condition.
