I realized that the secret to life was never a secret in the first place. Just have to get in, take the wheel and drive towards your purpose. This is where the heart begins to see clearly through all the bullshit that's been made up to keep your vision blind. It's time to wake up.

Segments drawn on a tissue napkin. Allergy season is here and my sinuses are killing me, sometimes disrupting my focus. I know that the excuse is just a crutch.

This drawing was done at the Holyoke studio on a much larger space with more segments. It took me about 3 hours to complete.

From starting point to the end point, I create the segment. After that I concentrate on the relationship between segments. I determine how much conformity I must give in to.

At work decided to incorporate the segments in the magazine's recipe page.

my intention was to create an image that is obvious.

creating tension to find the center from the group of segments.

here I use the segments to form letters. the picture is upside down, but overall I was able to create balance with the segments without being symetrical.

I applied color and tried to show some form of movement and direction in composing the group of segments.

this was one of my earlier studies. I realize how the segments, individually, can be very dependent on the other segments to create form.
